A recent report from the Domain Group, listed the top ten suburbs in Brisbane that are pegged to experience the most growth in 2016.
According to AllianceCorp head of Acquisitions and Senior Property Consultant Matt Bower, AC targeted and acquired properties in five out of the ten locations, many of which have achieved valuations above contract price upon settlement six months ago.
“Our clients have experienced great success in the inner and outer suburbs of Brisbane. On average we have rented out these properties for clients within one week of settlement and achieved an average gross rental yield of 5%.” Matt said.
“We continue to see demand in Brisbane from people wanting to live within 15-20km of the CBD in larger dwellings than the typical apartment dwellings you see in Melbourne and Sydney.
“Close proximity to transport hubs and major retail is also an important factor.
“We are reading a lot of reports that predict high demand for three bedroom townhouses and four bedroom houses in these areas based on population growth and demographic mix.” Matt said.
